The Founder
Andrew Dawson, the founder of SmartCollabs, has spent much of his career in the field of financial crime prevention within the fast-paced fintech sector and developed a sharp understanding of the importance of due diligence and safeguarding against fraud.An avid YouTube user in his free time, Andrew noticed a troubling trend: creators, many of whom he admired for their authenticity and creativity, were unknowingly promoting brands that turned out to be scams or were otherwise problematic. He realized that while influencers were experts at connecting with their audiences, they often lacked the resources, expertise, or tools to properly vet the brands they were endorsing.Andrew set out to create a solution. Leveraging his expertise, he envisioned a tool that would empower influencers to make informed, safe decisions about the brands they collaborate with.
